"A person divided cannot stand"

Films: President's Day (2010)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: You want to know where you can find the lowest stakes on planet Earth? Look no further than the election for school president. Exactly what anyone gains from being slightly a cut above the rest of the students in terms of recognition from a title that means/stands for nothing is beyond us. It certainly wasn't worth killing a lot of people about it, LEONARD!

History: After sexually assaulting a student, teacher Leonard Wright was disgraced and mostly forgotten by the folks at Lincoln High School. But he still held a candle for her, even if that manifested into a desire to kill her and all the other students involved in the upcoming student body election. Dressed as Abe Lincoln, Leonard was quick to spread fear and distrust throughout the school as the death increased.

Notable Kills: Kills a handicapped person (really?), stabs a student through the mouth with his own trophy, burns half a girl's face off on a hot stove, rips off another's nose, impales a guy with the blunt end of a stick, gouges a student, decapitates with a paper thinner, stabs a person in the face with scissors, impales someone through the mouth with the blunt end of a guitar, gives a guy the plastic bag treatment, and kills two people with nothing but those "I voted" pins. Just...Christ on a bike.

Final Fate: At long last, Leonard’s rampage is brought to an end when his face is burnt horrifically (ironic), and the upper half of his head is sliced off with his own axe. He died as he lived, killing people in unconventional and awful ways.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-Somehow, in spite of wearing a worn Abe getup, Leonard manages to be a major cut above most other low-budget serial killers. The sheer amount of diverse and painful ways he dispatches his targets is mind-shattering, especially considering that there was no way most of those victims met a quick death. So the next time you see that tacky Lincoln lookalike coming your way, RUN.

Trivia: -Rather fittingly, this film was released on Presidents Day of that year. It was also met with surprisingly warm reception. Personally, we think it was well-earned. Not bad for a film where all the actors did the work for free.

-Originally, this film was meant to be a 30-min. segment of a three-story anthology. Considering how brutal this story was, we dread to think what the other two would have in store for us…
